Hi! Did you miss me?
Clearly, I have once again completely failed at attempting a monthly Blog post. Honestly, I'd say I'm really sorry, but I think I have to admit this may always be a bit more hit or miss than that. I just don't always have something I want to say, and even when I do, I definitely get in my own way pretty frequently.
Essentially, I think we'll just call this what it is:
A work in progress.

Anyways --- why am I really writing?
I have news!
This year I'm adding a lot more markets to my calendar for even more options to shop in person and meet some wonderful people. The biggest ones are still pretty far away, including this years Mountain Heritage Arts and Crafts Festival, but the very first one is only a month away.
I hope to see some of you at the Shepherdstown Community Club's May Handmade Market! It'll be Saturday May 6, 10 am to 6 pm and Sunday May 7, 9 am to 4 pm In the War Memorial Building right in adorable Downtown Shepherdstown, WV.

I'll also be at Mountain Heritage September 22 - 24th at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds as well as Black Dog Coffee. Co usual Shop Local event in November. I'm adding some December Christmas markets too so Keep an eye out here and on Facebook for more updates.
Burwell-Morgan Mill is also about to host another Art at the Mill show! I dropped my painting off a couple weeks ago and its sure to be packed full of local talent. They'll have an online gallery as well once again but I highly recommend visiting if you can. You can stop at the Buttery for some refreshments to fill your stomach after all the eye candy. ;)

Last but not least, If you're local to Charles Town, The Old Opera House will be putting on a musical comedy called Curtains April 21-30! You can check out their website for show times and a synopsis.
If you do decide to go, be sure to explore the Heiler Gallery space during intermission. Firehouse Gallery Members, including myself, will be showing a variety of works for your enjoyment. You might just spot Yellow in the wild. ;)
I'm going to try to catch one of the showings for sure cause who couldn't use a fun night of laughs?
