Our Policies

We value your privacy:

We will only collect personal information, such as your email address, when provide alongside explicit permission such as when opting into our email subscription, requesting an invoice and/or contracts for custom commissions, or reaching out to complete returns or provide other reasonable assistance.

Select info provided by you when processing an order will be collected by us or our third party associates, only in order to complete the appropriate transaction and fulfilment. This may include data and security provided by Wix, transaction services by Square or Paypal depending on how you choose to check out, or info regarding your address for order shipping completed via our print on demand partner, Printful, or shippo for our original art and handmade items I ship myself.

Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.  

All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

Any of this info will only ever be accessed directly by us in order to process your order, ship purchases, or complete requested returns or other specified services. Data may be securely stored by us or our third parties listed only so long as to complete stated transactions and allow for any disputes, refunds etc, or in order to comply with any legal requirements for such information.

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.

Returns

If you are not entirely happy with your art, you have 30 days following your order to notify me and return the art in its original packaging for a refund. When contacting me please include your order number and shipping address in order to confirm your purchase. You are responsible for return shipping costs and any damage incurred due to not properly repackaging the item will be deducted from your refund. This deduction will not exceed 50% of the original price paid at purchase. 

In case of print on demand items which are clearly indicated in the shop listings, please be aware we are affected by our partners return policies as well. Please contact us via our email at emmacrim@gmail.com first with any issues so we can evaluate the best options. In most cases I will ask that the item be shipped back to our business location and will process a refund at that time. If the problem appears to be a manufacturing fault, an exchange from our production partners at Printful may be facilitated.

At no time will returns and or refund requests for digital items be accepted.

Digital Items

Purchasing a digital project from us means you agree to follow all copyright and licensing agreements relevant to the product. At this time, all of our digital assets are available for personal use only and may not be distributed by yourself or an associate, rather in digital or physical form. You may Not, under any circumstances, sell they provided file(s) or publish them as your own. Purchase of our products in NO way transfers any copyright or other ownership. All property remains in the ownership of Emma Crim and the brand InsightfulFish.

Upon completion of the transaction and delivery of funds, the purchased file(s) will be delivered via the email address you provided, for a one time download. If the payment is delayed, you may receive a confirmation email, prior to the downloadable content, which will be delivered upon confirmed payment receipt.

No returns or exchanges will be allowed for any digital downloads due to the nature of the product. Please be sure you have access to the email and the ability to open the file type - primarily a pdf- before purchasing to ensure no issues. We may be able to resend the relevant download up to one time, should you accidentally delete the email or have a similar problem.

Shipping 

For ready to ship items such as paintings, please allow for 1-3 business days to process, package and get your order out for delivery. I do my best to ship quickly, but I am currently a one person business.

I will be sure to communicate should there be any unexpected delays on my end and once it has been handed over to the shipping carrier, I will do my best to provide any included tracking info possible.

Please also be aware that while I will reduce costs wherever possible, shipping orginial art often means oversized or heavy packages as well as extra material to ensure it arrives safely and thus prices may be higher than you might expect. This is simply to ensure your one of a kind art piece arrives safely and in a condition I am proud of. 

Shipping for our Print on demand designs

When will I get my order? Usually, it takes 3–7 days to fulfill an order, after which it’s shipped out. The shipping time depends on your location, but can be estimated as follows:

● USA: 3–4 business days

● Europe: 6–8 business days

● Australia: 2–14 business days

● Japan: 4–8 business days

● International: 10–20 business days

 

Where will my order ship from? We work with an on-demand order fulfillment company with facilities worldwide!

Will I be charged customs for my order? An additional customs and tax fee can occur on international orders. This fee is not in our control and is assessed by your local customs office. Customs policies vary widely for every country so please check with your local customs office directly to see if they apply duties and taxes to your purchases.

My order should be here by now, but I still don't have it. What should I do? Before getting in touch with us, please help us out by doing the following:

● Check your shipping confirmation email for any mistakes in the delivery address

● Ask your local post office if they have your package

● Stop by your neighbors in case the courier left the package with them If the shipping address was correct, and the package wasn't left at the post office or at your neighbor’s, get in touch with us at emmacrim@gmail.com with your order number. If you did find a mistake in your delivery address, we can send you a replacement order, but shipping will be at your own cost.

How do I track my order? You’ll receive a tracking link via email when your order ships out. If you have any questions about your tracking or shipment, drop us a line at emmacrim@gmail.com

Returns for our Print on Demand Designs

We do not offer exchanges at this time except in cases of manufacturing failings. Returns may be accepted in some cases at cost of return shipping to us directly, not our partners at prinful. Please contact us at emmacrim@gmail.com before returning an order so we can provide you with the best options.

Refunds are only offered to customers that receive the wrong items or damaged items. If any of these apply, please contact us at emmacrim@gmail.com with photos of wrong/damaged items and we’ll sort that out for you.

Any claims for misprinted/damaged/defective items must be submitted within 30 days after the product has been received. For packages lost in transit, all claims must be submitted no later than 30 days after the estimated delivery date. Claims deemed an error on our part are covered at our expense.
